Eligible dependents are your spouse, domestic partner (with completion of a domestic partner affidavit), and dependent children up to age 26, regardless of the dependent’s financial dependency, student status, or employment status.
Disabled children up to any age and dependents who qualify as a dependent under the Internal Revenue Code are also covered regardless of age.
RCG a division of Luminate Home Loans provides benefits to all regular full-time employees scheduled to work more than 30 hours per week. Employees and their dependents are eligible for coverage under all benefit programs on the first of the month following the day of employment.
Enrollment 1st of the month following the date of hire.
The IRS has established rules for employee benefit elections which dictate that once an employee makes their elections as a new hire or for the plan year, they may not change them until the next annual open enrollment unless a qualifying event occurs. Election changes must be consistent with the qualifying event. For example, the birth of a child allows you to add your child to your medical plan. You must document any qualifying events and upload any supporting documentation through Employee Navigator.
